James C. Tapp

Managing Director

Mr. Tapp co-founded KT Capital Partners in 2006.  He previously spent 12 years as Managing Partner of Summit Acquisitions Group, an M&A company that he founded in 1994.  During his M&A and Private Equity career, Mr. Tapp has completed more than 150 transactions.

Mr. Tapp spent 7 years with Mobil Oil Corporation in various senior sales, engineering and management positions after beginning his career as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army Infantry where he held several leadership positions in a Combat Infantry Battalion.  Mr. Tapp is the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Recycling Equipment, Inc, Autotality, Inc. and Microtel, Inc. and is a Member of the Board of Directors for several additional private companies.

Mr. Tapp holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from West Point and an MBA.

Peter Kacer

Managing Director

Mr. Kacer co-founded KT Capital Partners in 2006.  Mr. Kacer previously spent 8 years in CFO and CEO positions with Convergent Resources, a $125 million revenue accounts receivable and customer care call center company.  Mr. Kacer also spent 10 years with Trivest and 6 years with KPMG.

Mr. Kacer is a director of Filterworks USA, LLC and Chairman of the Board of ITA, Inc.

Mr. Kacer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Florida State (CPA) and a JD from the University of Miami.
